Sacha Inchi is a seed that grows in the Amazon rainforest, and is ethically sourced from a single family farm by Imlakesh Organics.  It is a solid source of protein, and maybe more importantly a substantial source of vegan Omega 3s (maybe even the best source).  Its cultivation is done in a manner that is helping to preserve the rainforest, and combatting the decline of one of the most important ecosystems on our planet (much like Acai!).  Sacha Inchi also happens to have a wonderful nutty flavor and light crunchy texture that pairs well with any bowl in its raw form, or makes a great blend in ingredient in its protein powder form.
